Our Pastors

Adam and Ruthie Sanders

Adam and Ruthie Sanders have a passion for seeing people completely changed by the message of Christ and have given their lives to this cause. The calling to ministry that they have had from their childhood was realized in Tulsa, Oklahoma where they met while students at Oral Roberts University. Their commitment to impact their world for Christ would continue through their college careers and until they were married and began to serve as a team at Victory Christian Center. During the past 15 years the couple has served at Victory in several capacities including Children’s Pastors, Volunteer Coordinators, Youth Pastors, and Assistant Pastors under Pastor Sharon Daugherty, and the late Billy Joe Daugherty.

In 2012, God lead Adam and Ruthie to move with their daughter, Tovah, to Frisco, Texas where they planted The City Life Church. The heart and vision of this amazing couple is to build a vibrant church in Frisco where people can experience life change, families will come together, and the city becomes a light to the world sharing the saving power and grace of Jesus Christ.

Our Story

In April 2012, a small group of people met together and began to dream about a church. The church they envisioned would have a group of people who had a passion for developing deep followers of Jesus Christ. The people who became a part of this church family would be fueled by a desire to love the people of their city. In October of 2012 this team began gathering monthly in a local chiropractor’s office to grow in their relationship with Christ and to serve their city. It was from this dream that The City Life Church emerged. Now located at Fisher Elementary in The Trails of Frisco this team and church is committed to helping people take the next step on their spiritual journey.
